SPCC Plans
All businesses that deal in oil or petroleum products require Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure plans to ensure legal protection from any unforeseen accidents. Miller Engineering provides local, state, and EPA compliant plans for all industries across the United States.

APPLICABILITY
The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) requires SPCC plans to prevent and mitigate the environmental impact from oil spills. If you store over 1,320 gallons of oil aboveground or 42,000 gallons of oil underground, you are required to have a SPCC plan.

Our Services
Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure Plans
SPCC Plans are typically required for bulk petroleum storage, production terminals and fuel transfer facilities; however, these plans can also be required for less apparent locations including airports, municipalities, educational, manufacturing, food processing, and automotive maintenance facilities.
Facility Response Plans
FRPs are required for larger oil storage facilities that have the potential to create “substantial harm” to the environment. It is also intended to demonstrate a facility’s preparedness to respond to a “worst-case” oil discharge.
Combined Contingency Plans
When facilities need SPCC and Facility Response Plans, Miller Engineering can offer a Combined Contingency Plan to reduce redundancy and enhance efficiency.
